Responsibilities

• Assist in menu planning by suggesting nutritious and appealing options that meet dietary needs.
• Handle food with care, following proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure freshness.
• Cook a variety of dishes, utilizing knife skills and culinary techniques to achieve optimal flavor and presentation.
• Support food service operations by serving meals efficiently and courteously to guests or residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food prep stations and storage spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth meal preparation, catering events, or daily service routines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry or restaurant settings.
• Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations.
• Demonstrated culinary experience with knife skills and attention to detail in food presentation.
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
• Experience working in fine dining environments or with specialized dietary requirements is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
