Base salary starts at $17.30/hr.

E S S E N T I A L F U N C T I O N S

• Prepares and cooks meals for patients, employees, and visitors working from established recipes, formulas and menu cycles.
• Operates commercial and large scale cooking equipment and appliances.
• Provides input into the development of the menu.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen area.
• Other duties as assigned.

E D U C A T I O N

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

E X P E R I E N C E

• Previous experience as a cook preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.

• Cooking skills and the ability to follow established menus and recipes.
• Excellent customer service skills, including but not limited to: a friendly personality, tact, patience, empathy and a helpful, professional attitude both in person and on the telephone.
