Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Assist in meal preparation for special dietary needs as required by the dietary department.
- Utilize proper knife skills for efficient food preparation.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality meals.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting, preferably in fine dining.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient in meal preparation techniques and food handling procedures.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
