We are seeking dedicated employees who enjoy preparing meals that our residents enjoy! The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety, and get the privilege of serving delicious food to our residents at Summit Place West Assisted Living. This role requires a strong understanding of food handling practices with the benefit of serving our residents! Our goal at Summit Place West Assisted Living is to make everyday a celebration! If you have a love for cooking and enjoy creating delicious dishes, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Following dietary menus and recipes, honoring dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Provide assistance as a dietary aide when necessary, accommodating special dietary needs.
