Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and availability for food preparation and service
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a tidy and welcoming environment for guests
• Support food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients under supervision
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness by regularly cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health regulations
• Help with catering setups and banquet events by organizing supplies and ensuring timely service support
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service times

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as bussing, cleaning, or food handling is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards
• Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude in fast-paced settings
• Willingness to support various roles within the kitchen, including dishwashing, bussing, or light food prep
• Knowledge of sanitation practices related to kitchen environments is advantageous
