Cook / Kitchen Assistant

Location: Qualcomm Campus – Santa Clara, CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, fast-paced Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our team at the Qualcomm café. This role supports multiple stations in a busy corporate cafeteria environment and is ideal for someone who works well under pressure, stays organized, and has a positive attitude.

You will help maintain our salad bar, assist with food prep, organize inventory, and support other stations when needed. Bonus points if you have experience with Pizza.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the salad bar station (prep ingredients and refill throughout service)
• Assist with general kitchen prep work as needed
• Receive and properly organize deliveries and inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and kitchen area
• Support other stations when needed (catering, grill, cashier, etc.)
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Willingness to learn and grow within the team
