Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher, to join our culinary team. Multi tasking is essential in ensuring that our kitchen & customer service operates smoothly while providing high-quality food service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment. Able to do customer service and cash register.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety standards.
• Support catering events by assisting with food setup and service as needed.
• Help maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen.
• Customer service take orders and run a register.
• Multi-tasking is essential

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
• Familiarity with culinary techniques such as knife skills and food preparation methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills.
• Experience in catering or as a dietary aide is a plus but not mandatory.
