Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and company standards
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently maintained
- Assist in food preparation, portioning, and kitchen setup before service
- Monitor food stock levels and inform supervisors about shortages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times
- Store food properly and check ingredient freshness regularly
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients
- Adhere to company policies and health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook, Cooker, or Kitchen Staff in restaurants or cafés
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary certification or training is an advantage
