Duties

• Handle cash register operations accurately, process transactions efficiently, and provide friendly assistance to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to all food handling and safety regulations.
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient inventory management to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Serve customers with enthusiasm, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate special dietary requests when needed.
• Support catering events or special meal preparations as required, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
• Follow all health department guidelines and safety protocols to promote a safe dining environment for staff and guests.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or catering setting.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques across different cuisines.
• Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
