BEGINNING SALARY
Based on classification and pay plan for Non-bargaining employees:
Grade 24 $65,774.25 - $81,162.58 annually
SCOPE:
To ensure that all mandated requirements by the Office of Safe Schools within the Department of Education,
all related Statues, Senate Bills, and State Board Rules are implemented and followed as defined in
1006.07(6).
EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:REQUIRED:
Masters Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience
Experience with state school safety requirements
OR
Currently employed by local law enforcement
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING:REQUIRED:
Valid Florida Drivers license
PREFERRED/DESIRED:
Certified as a School Principal by the State of Florida
School Safety Specialist Training
FEMA Emergency Management APS Training
