Coordinator, Admissions Operations

We are seeking a detail-oriented, service-driven professional to join our Admission team as an Admissions Operations Coordinator—a key role supporting the systems, processes, and relationships that help students find their path to the Mount. Position Summary

The Admissions Operations/Support Coordinator supports enrollment and recruitment efforts by ensuring accurate data management, effective use of admissions systems, and a welcoming, responsive experience for prospective students and families. This role plays an essential part in advancing the University’s enrollment goals while living out our commitment to personal attention and student success.

Responsibilities

Support Enrollment Through Data & Systems

  • Manage the import/export of admissions data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Process admission applications and maintain applicant records in the student information system (SIS)
  • Perform ongoing data entry, validation, and cleanup
  • Generate monthly and on-demand reports to support enrollment tracking and decision-making

Help Power Our CRM (Slate)

  • Support academic and athletic partners using Slate by creating users, updating lists, and maintaining system organization
  • Train new users and provide ongoing guidance to ensure effective use of the system
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, reporting, and system efficiency

Deliver a High-Quality Student Experience

  • Serve as a friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for prospective students and families via phone, email, and in person
  • Provide clear and timely information about the admission process and University offerings
  • Welcome visitors, coordinate appointments, and connect them with the right campus partners

Support Recruitment Events & Campus Engagement

  • Assist with Admission-sponsored events, visit days, and priority registration
  • Help coordinate logistics including scheduling visits and preparing materials

Keep Operations Running Smoothly

  • Assist with mailings, purchase orders, and general office operations
  • Maintain office equipment and manage supply inventory responsibly

Be a Collaborative Team Member

  • Support colleagues across Admission, Athletics, Academic Departments, and Student Affairs
  • Adapt to evolving priorities and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Help create a welcoming, mission-driven environment for all
  • High School Diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Experience in data entry, data management, or administrative operations
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to learn and navigate systems such as SIS and CRM platforms (e.g., Slate)
