This role supports Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Employment will be through an employer-of-record partner.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Coordinator will be an integral part of the Japan regional team and will specialize in supporting members and regional operations in Japan. This Coordinator will work closely with the Japan regional team on providing communication and support for member leaders, chapter officers (including chapter staff). This individual will also be responsible for translating and editing materials created by EO’s global communications team and will partner with multiple stakeholders across the Japan Region to deliver timely, consistent, and high-quality messages. The Coordinator will work closely with professional staff across functions with a primary goal of creating high quality communication support that is consistent with the EO brand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Works closely with the regional staff for Japan and provides administration support.

Support pre-call, during call, and post-call logistics if necessary.

Send call reminders and share agenda with stakeholders together if necessary.

Take attendance during calls and prepare and circulate meeting recordings and notes.

Update material space for the region and keep it updated.

Support where there is a gap due to language challenges between region and global teams.

Support member connections when requests from other regions come in.

Facilitate new member onboarding based on the Member Engagement team’s guidelines.

In partnership with Japan Region professional staff, supports the translation of various materials from Portfolio liaisons, EO’s internal interpretation team, and event vendors as needed.

Provides administrative support on calls and at events, ensuring effective communication between Japanese-speaking members and chapter staff and English-speaking global staff and members.
- Provides proofreading/editing of translated documents from internal EO teams to ensure EO terminology, message, and brand is well reflected in Japanese.
- Provides clear and concise communication regarding the direction and requirements of EO to the chapters.

Provide support for Regional Manager to keep track on chapter strategic planning by aligning with Chapter Staff.
Regional Support and Collaboration:

Support initiatives for the region, to encourage members to experience EO outside their chapters.

Attend at least three EO leadership and membership conferences per year.

Support the Regional Director in preparing for the annual Presidents’ Meeting, Global Leadership Conference, and other regional meetings and events.

Assist the Staff Regional Director in preparing for monthly Regional Council Meetings

Video Conference Meetings – Weekly staff huddle, monthly EO all-staff meeting, monthly membership, weekly one-on-ones with staff, monthly Regional Council, and project meetings as required.

Performs other duties and leads projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, preferably in support functions and translation.

Native-level proficiency in Japanese and English.

Demonstrated nuanced communicative skills with the ability to work in western, Japanese, and multi-cultural contexts.

Proficiency in systems such as Slack, Teams, Basecamp, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and project management tools preferred.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in teams with high accountability, ensuring successful outcomes.

Exceptional organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Comfort and proficiency in working across cultures, geographies, and time zones.

Detail-oriented with a growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and flexibility.

International experience is preferred, showcasing adaptability and cultural awareness.

Compensation: 466,700-606,250 JPY Gross Monthly Salary.
