Job Summary
The Coordinator, of Match Operations for St. Louis CITY SC will provide guests with a safe and inviting venue, as well as experiences that are the best in Major League Soccer. This individual will help the Stadium Operations Team in ensuring that St. Louis CITY SC matches are operating as efficiently and effectively as possible. This is a full time, non exempt position.
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead event operations for all MLS NEXT Pro home matches ensuring seamless event delivery for all guests while in alignment with MLS and club standards.
  • Coordinate event operations for all external matches at Energizer Park i.e. Leagues Cup, U.S Open Cup, U.S Soccer, CONCACAF, and NCAA matches.
  • Oversee part-time event operations team on MLS matchdays.
  • Assist with managing, creating, and distributing full-season and single-match credentials for working staff.
  • Manage and inventory of matchday assets, such as radios, wristbands, signage, match specific supplies/equipment, etc.
  • Supervise and plan matchday experience groups with internal club departments.
  • Create and maintain parking manifests for matchdays across all major sporting events at Energizer Park.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sport management, sports leadership, venue management, or another related field is required.
  • Previous operations responsibility and experience in collegiate or professional sports, preferred.
  • Supervisory experience managing staff, student workers, or volunteers, preferred.
  • Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgement based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities.
  • Strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects within a team environment.
  • Strong time management skills are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
  • Required to sit, stand, and walk.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or drag up to one hundred (100) pounds if necessary.
  • Capable of working in outdoor weather conditions, including exposure to extreme heat and freezing temperatures.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours and game days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
