Coordinator of Human Resources
Reports To: Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources and Executive Director, Human Resources
Department: Human Resources
Classification: Certificated or Classified Management
Work Year: 242 Days per year

- Assist in coordinating recruitment activities including job postings, applicant screening, interview processes, and onboarding. E
- Support certificated and classified hiring processes to ensure compliance with district policies, Education Code, and collective bargaining agreements. E
- Provide guidance to administrators and supervisors regarding personnel procedures, policies, and best practices. E
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and exit processes. E
- Assist with investigations, employee relations matters, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain personnel records in accordance with legal requirements and district procedures. E
- Support HR compliance activities including credential monitoring, mandated trainings, and reporting requirements. E
- Prepare correspondence, reports, board agenda items, and HR-related documentation. E
- Collaborate with payroll, risk management, and other departments to support personnel actions. E
- Assist in interpreting and applying collective bargaining agreements. E
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR procedures and operational improvements. E
- Assist with planning Employee Recruitment. E
- Oversee Recruitment and Assignment Desk. E
- Liaison with Business Services regarding leaves of absence. E
- Perform related duties as assigned. E
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration, Finance, or closely related field desirable.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible Human Resources leadership experience.
- Experience in a California public school district strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in labor relations and employee discipline required.
- Experience in a public education environment desirable.
