Coordinator, Onboarding and Logistics [Onboarding] – Camps

Overview:

Scope of Position:
Deliver a seamless onboarding and employment experience for all WinShape Camps seasonal staff. Manage our systems supporting the application, interview, selection and onboarding processes. Create and support the hiring and performance infrastructure for our seasonal employees, ensuring compliance with organizational standards while providing high‑quality support to seasonal and full-time employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for seasonal staff and applicants throughout the year by providing communication via phone, email, and the staff support inbox – staffinfo@winshapecamps.org.
  • Develop the annual hiring and selection strategy in collaboration with the larger Staff Development Team.
  • Facilitate the execution of the hiring + onboarding process for all WinShape Camps seasonal summer staff:
  • Maintain all required elements of the hiring process.
  • Oversee the complete onboarding process from initial hire through final documentation.
  • Collect, organize and ensure accuracy of employment data and documents.
  • Manage and maintain key systems including WIN (onboarding platform) and Workday HCMS maximizing efficiencies.
  • Create, update, and review all onboarding systems - including CampDoc, MinistrySafe, additional documents, etc.
  • Act as subject-matter expert for onboarding systems and processes continually improving workflow efficiency.
  • Serve as the liaison for function specific communication to appropriate channels.
  • Support Performance Management process for all seasonal summer staff including administratively building process infrastructure with input from stakeholders in the organization, training, and document oversight.
  • Support Program and Recruitment teams with key initiatives such as seasonal recruitment efforts, Formers Events, Leadership Weekend, and Staff Training with excellence.
  • Serve as a member of a dedicated recruiting team and travel on specified weeks for the purpose of recruiting high caliber seasonal staff.
  • Serve year‑round on the Interview & Hiring Alignment Team.
  • Uphold and support Foundation Policies and compliance standards.
  • Required to be present at our WinShape Camps offices in Atlanta, GA for a minimum of 10 days per month.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred experience in Onboarding, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ProPresenter, Microsoft Outlook and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to maintain regular office hours at the WinShape Camps office in Atlanta.
  • Willingness to engage in travel (25%) throughout the year.
  • Must hold or obtain a valid driver’s license for the state in which they are hired and have an acceptable driving record.
  • A self-professing Christ-follower, actively involved in a Christian faith community and actively pursuing Christ on a consistent basis.
