Gunn Agri Partners is looking for a Coordinator / HR Graduate - People Operations and Systems based in our Bondi Junction office to process payroll, support HRIS management and the employee lifecycle in a values-led, purpose-driven organisation.

The Role

As our Coordinator / HR Graduate - People Operations and Systems, you will process end-to end payroll/administration, HR information systems, employee records, and people processes across the business. This is a hands-on opportunity to build strong foundations in HR and people operations while working with experienced leaders and HR professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Compliance Support

  • End-to-end payroll processing
  • Maintain payroll records, benefits, taxation and superannuation compliance
  • Payroll reporting and reconciliation

Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle Coordination

  • Assist with recruitment processes for both office and operational/field (award covered/fortnightly paid) roles, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
  • Prepare onboarding documents, contracts, and payroll setup
  • Support employee changes, updates, and offboarding
  • Assist with final pay calculations and compliance checks

HRIS & Data Management

  • Maintain and update the HRIS with accurate employee information
  • Generate workforce reports and dashboards
  • Support system upgrades, integrations, and vendor liaison

General HR & Process Improvement

  • Respond to HR and payroll queries professionally and confidentially
  • Help maintain policies, compliance documentation and position descriptions
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system efficiency

About You

This role is perfect for someone early in their HR career, or a recent graduate looking to build strong technical and operational HR foundations.

You'll bring:

  • A degree or qualification in HR, Business, or a related field (or nearing completion)
  • Interest in payroll, HR systems and data integrity
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A proactive, team-player mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and willingness to learn
  • A commitment to confidentiality and high professional standards
