Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for legal requests to Advocates of company, managing the legal intake system and triaging inquiries to the appropriate team member.
- Maintain and organize the department’s legal files, contracts, and records (both electronic and physical) using our document management system (e.g., SharePoint, iManage, Google Drive).
- Coordinate the execution, notarization, and distribution of legal documents and agreements.
- Assist with legal billing, including tracking outside counsel invoices, processing accruals, and ensuring compliance with billing guidelines.
- Schedule and prepare materials for meetings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
- Able to draft letters on email.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a legal environment (law firm, in-house legal department, or corporate compliance).
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
