Attention, Grammar Geeks! We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-obsessed, Copy Editor with a great attitude and a ridiculously high work ethic. Is that you?

• We are looking for a true editor who LOVES editing copy. Period.

If you have a passion for grammar and punctuation, know how to captivate an audience and compel readers to take action, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, Plastic Surgery Studios is just the place to hone your editing and content marketing skills.

You’ll review and revise SEO-driven content for client websites and marketing campaigns, ensuring every piece is accurate, engaging, and polished to perfection. You’ll edit written SEO content that promotes both our agency and our clients’ practices.

Products You'll Focus On:

• Blogs and procedure pages
• Email and print marketing materials
• Google Ads landing pages
• Other client and company content

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Edit every piece of content to ensure compliance with company and client guidelines
• Fact-check and verify accuracy in all written work
• Research and confirm that relevant SEO keywords are included appropriately
• Participate in client calls/video conferences to discuss content as needed
• Select stock photos and patient images for published blogs
• Communicate with project managers, marketing, design, IT, and sales teams to align project direction
• Submit projects on time using Wrike, our project management software

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• 3+ years of professional copy editing experience (not just proofreading for friends in college)
• Mastery of the AP Stylebook and Chicago Manual of Style, with flexibility to adapt to in-house guidelines
• Excellent command of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
• Proficiency with Google Docs editing tools (track changes, version history)
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with writers, marketers, project managers, and leadership
• Open-minded and teachable: we don’t edit like other companies—sometimes we break the rules (but only if you know them first!)
• Ability to write concise, accurate, and organized copy when needed
• Strong research and fact-checking skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
