Ascend Digital Agency, a leading digital marketing agency headquartered in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a meticulous and skilled Copy Editor to join our growing team. In this role, you will refine and polish marketing content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment across all client materials. You will play a key role in proofreading campaigns, editing web copy, reviewing social media content, and maintaining style guidelines to support our clients' professional image. Your expertise will help ensure error-free, compelling content that maintains brand integrity and delivers clear, effective messaging across all digital marketing channels.

Job Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread all marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
• Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Develop a deep understanding of our target audience and tailor copy accordingly.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in writing and editing, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field is preferred, but not required.

Skills

• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to write in different styles for various target audiences.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Canva.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented and able to consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
