- Ensure consistent tone, style, formatting, and terminology across documents.
- Improve structure, readability, and logical flow without changing intended meaning.
- Identify ambiguities, inconsistencies, factual issues, and editorial risks.
- Enforce adherence to style guides and maintain high editorial standards.
- Flag unclear instructions or weak reasoning in source materials.
- Provide constructive feedback to help authors improve overall content quality.
- 5+ years of professional experience in copy editing, proofreading, journalism, publishing, technical editing, or a related field.
- Native or near-native proficiency in English with excellent grammar and writing skills.
- Proven history of high-precision editorial work with minimal error rates.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to catch subtle inconsistencies.
- Familiarity with major style guides (e.g., Chicago, AP, MLA) and their application.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent quality standards.

- Minimum commitment: 20 hours per week.
