The Role:
We're seeking someone with great attention to detail and an eye for layout to join our operations team and help ensure our "Best Of" magazines are nothing short of exceptional. If you have a knack for precision and a passion for crafting polished prose, we want you on board.

Responsibilities:

• Refining Content: Tailor articles to fit layout specifications while maintaining readability and coherence.
• Polishing Text: Edit and enhance articles for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style consistency.
• Maintaining Consistency: Enforce editorial style guidelines to uphold uniformity throughout publications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with writers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of text and visuals.
• Deadline Management: Juggle multiple projects and meet tight production deadlines with finesse.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of proofs and final layouts to identify and rectify any remaining errors or inconsistencies.

Requirements:

• Exceptional proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and style conventions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly and accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with print media publications.
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign or similar design software.
• Previous experience with editing and copy fitting.
• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a copy editor, preferably in magazine publishing or a related industry.
