Copy Of Agricultural Service Technician

Position Specifics:

Reports to: Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager

Supervises: None

Purpose:

Requires minimum supervision with some direction. Performs disassembly and assembly of components. Uses basic testing procedures, repair and rebuilds in the most efficient and safe manner.

Responsibilities:

• Continually develops skis in disassembly, assembly, and repair of components and equipment.
• Performs basic testing on all machine systems.
• Works toward improving diagnostic skills on all machine systems.
• Performs all service tasks assigned by Service Manager.
• Reports to Service Manager any additional work required on machines to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Participates in all service training required for the development of skills and knowledge. Utilizes training tapes and manuals provided.
• Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments in a timely manner.
• Maintains and cares for shop tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly manner.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations, and uses safe practices in performing all work assignments.
• Conducts self in the presence of customers and other employees in a manner benefiting the image of the dealership.
• Performs all other duties as directed by the service manager.
