Copy of Parts Specialist

The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service.

We are seeking a Parts Specialist for County Materials, Marathon City, WI.

Job Duties:

• Maintain working areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Obtain quotes on parts and supplies
• Communicate with vendors to check part availability.
• Pick up and deliver parts from vendors as needed.
• Communicate with mechanical technicians to evaluate parts needed.
• Maintain inventory levels
• Source and order parts from suppliers

Work Environment:

• Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures
• Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards
• Work in a noisy environment

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting
• Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds
• Standing / Walking / Climbing
• Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending
• Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in diesel mechanics or related field.
• Pro-active, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player and positive attitude is a must.
• Strong computer knowledge
