Minimum 2 years experience in copywriting in an advertising/agency setting
Strong verbal & written English skills; excellent command of language, grammar, idioms and the ability to make copy crisp and effective.
Ability to think conceptually and strategically — not just “write what you’re told” but “what’s the insight & idea behind it”.
Flexibility to write for multiple media (digital + traditional). Understanding of how tone/format changes across media.
Good presentation skills (to present ideas) and ability to collaborate with creative team and other stakeholders.
Interest and awareness of advertising trends, digital/technological changes, consumer behaviour.
Attention to detail (proof-reading) and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
Experience working on both Indian and global brands (given that the agency works across geographies).
Experience across formats (social media, digital campaigns, print, video scripting) and the ability to adapt style accordingly.
Understanding of SEO, digital copy best-practices, user-journey oriented writing (if tasked for web/digital).
Portfolio demonstrating a variety of work (campaigns, digital, print).
