Copywriter – Entry Level (Part-Time)
We are looking for an Entry Level Copywriter to join our company. As our Copywriter, you will help us convey our brand’s message, values, and service offerings through compelling and persuasive copywriting across multiple channels. This is a part-time position, where the successful candidate will have a significant impact on our insurance business and can become a key player on the team.

THE POSITION
Our Copywriter is mainly responsible for designing and creating compelling and persuasive copy for various insurance-related marketing materials and supporting all aspects of our communication and outreach. This position plays a critical role in helping us differentiate ourselves through clear messaging, consistent branding, and effective outreach, and in ensuring that we can communicate our value, educate our audience, and convert interest into action.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and create compelling and persuasive copy for various insurance-related marketing materials, including but not limited to policy descriptions, agency website content, client education materials, social media posts, email campaigns, advertising copy, and blog articles that explain insurance concepts and highlight our offerings;
· Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging across all communication platforms, ensuring alignment with American Plus Group’s mission, values, and positioning as a client-focused, independent insurance agency;
· Conduct in-depth research and audience analysis to understand prospective and existing clients’ needs, concerns, and insurance literacy levels, tailoring copy to address customer pain points and promote clarity in insurance selection;
· Evaluate, identify, and integrate insurance-relevant keywords and SEO strategies into digital content to enhance online visibility, improve organic search rankings, and generate more high-quality insurance leads;
· Review and edit insurance-related drafts to ensure factual accuracy, compliance with industry regulations, clarity of complex policy explanations, and consistency with American Plus Group’s brand voice and standards;+
· Incorporate feedback from company leadership, insurance agents, clients, and business partners to refine messaging, ensuring copy effectively communicates value, coverage details, and next steps for prospective customers;
· Monitor industry trends, competitor messaging, regulatory updates, and consumer behavior through market research, and apply insights to enhance copywriting strategies and distinguish American Plus Group from other providers;
· Utilize analytics tools to monitor the performance of content across platforms (e.g., website engagement, email open rates, social media clicks), assess the effectiveness of messaging, and recommend data-informed optimizations;
· Provide content support for insurance seminars, local marketing events, and community outreach programs by developing brochures, signage, educational materials, and event summaries to engage and inform attendees;
· Collaborate with our in-house insurance agents, marketing team, designers, and external partners to develop integrated campaigns that highlight our personalized service, showcase policy options, and promote our carrier partnerships.
Qualifications:
Education requirement: must have a bachelor’s degree in English or its related field.
Experience: It is entry-level. No job experience is required. We are glad to train you.
Work authorization: Must have work authorization in the United States. If needed, we also sponsor H-1B applications.
