Corian (Solid Surface) Technitian

We are seeking an experienced Corian (Solid Surface) Technician responsible for the fabrication, installation, finishing, and repair of Corian and other solid surface countertops, sinks, wall cladding, and custom interior elements. The role requires precision workmanship, site coordination, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication & Installation

• Measure, fabricate, and install Corian/solid surface countertops, vanity tops, sinks, backsplashes, and cladding.
• Perform seamless jointing, edge profiling, and thermoforming as required.
• Install undermount/industrial sinks, cut-outs, and accessories accurately.
• Ensure proper support, leveling, and fixing of Corian tops on site.

Finishing & Quality Control

• Sand, polish, and finish surfaces to achieve seamless, uniform appearance.
• Repair scratches, cracks, joint lines, or surface damages.
• Maintain high standards of alignment, joint quality, and surface finish.

Site Work & Coordination

• Read and understand shop drawings and site dimensions.
• Coordinate with carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and project supervisors.
• Conduct site measurements and assist in material estimation.

Tools & Safety

• Operate woodworking and solid surface tools (CNC/router, hand tools, sanders).
• Follow health, safety, and housekeeping standards on site and in workshop.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years proven experience in Corian or solid surface fabrication & installation.
• Strong knowledge of Corian, Hi-Macs, Staron, or equivalent solid surface materials.
• Experience with seam joining, edge finishing, thermoforming, and polishing.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines.
• Good understanding of site work in kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial fit-outs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in UAE/GCC interior fit-out projects.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
• DuPont Corian or solid surface certification (advantage).

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
