Position Summary:
We are looking for a person who enjoys the financial industry. This position works across the firm and closely with the legal and compliance team, all focused on meeting the needs of our clients.
Education/Experience:

Law Degree from an accredited law school

License to practice law in Colorado
-
Bachelor’s Degree, business or finance preferred

Demonstrated interest in banking, wealth management, trust, or contract law
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (organized, clear, precise, concise)

Ability to draft, review, and edit contracts

Effectively researches and analyzes laws, regulations, and releases and with critical thinking

Responsibilities
:

Identify, research, and answer internal legal questions about, including among others, banking, trusts, fiduciary duties, securities, investment management, contract, and general corporate law

Identify, draft, and implement internal controls and solutions
-
Draft, negotiate, review and edit contracts, releases and other documents
-
Research, analyze, summarize, and explain OCC, Federal Reserve, SEC, and other laws, regulations, and releases
-
Apply research to facts and suggest effective solutions
-
Provide leadership and knowledge to other employees
