Corporate Collections Attorney Position Summary:

We are looking to fill out the position of Corporate Collections Attorney in our office located in Sunrise, FL. Benefits offered for the position: Health Insurance {100% premium paid by company}, Paid vacations, 401(k), Flexible Spending (FSA) and more

Essential Functions:

• Performed collections for the company.
• Successfully negotiated settlement agreements.
• Prepared Monthly Legal Case update for upper management, among other reports.
• Helped prepare for arbitration and mediation.
• Analyzed and drafted business leases, contracts, mortgages, and closing documents.
• Negotiated and litigated the company's contract disputes, including employment and advertising.

Experience, and Skills Required:

• 1+ year’ experience working in collections.
• Work as part of a global team.
• Strong analytical and interpretational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to perform well under stringent deadline pressure.
• Prior experience with document review, eDiscovery, or contract extraction and/or review.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and JD.
• Active Bar License in Florida.
