Purpose
To define, lead, and oversee Alsulaiman Group's (ASG) corporate communications, public relations, and brand strategy across all portfolio entities. The role ensures the organization's reputation and brand equity are strengthened through strategic messaging, integrated communications, and stakeholder engagement. The manager provides leadership, direction, and governance to the Group Corporate Communications Leaders and the broader communications function, while advising the executive team on communications strategy, crisis management, and reputation management.
Accountabilities Strategic Leadership & Corporate Communications Governance
- Develop and oversee the execution of ASG's corporate communications and PR strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, corporate values, and brand positioning.
- Provide strategic counsel to the executive team and senior leadership on communications, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Set governance, standards, and frameworks for all corporate communications, PR, and branding initiatives across the organization.
- Mentor, guide, and manage the communications team, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality outputs.
Media Relations & Corporate PR
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry stakeholders to enhance ASG's and its subsidiaries' visibility, credibility, and influence.
- Oversee media strategy, press outreach, content development, and interview preparation for senior executives.
- Monitor media coverage, sentiment, and reputational risks, providing strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team.
- Lead communications preparedness for sensitive, technical, or crisis situations, including proactive messaging and post-incident evaluation.
Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
- Oversee internal communications strategies to foster alignment, engagement, and organizational culture across ASG and its brands.
- Guide leadership messaging, employee campaigns, town halls and events, newsletters, and intranet communications.
- Collaborate with HR and business units to support change management initiatives through strategic communications.
Branding, Digital & AI-enabled Communications
- Define and maintain brand standards and messaging frameworks across all communications and digital channels.
- Drive ASG's digital presence, leveraging social media, digital tools, and AI-enabled analytics to optimize content, engagement, and stakeholder insights.
- Ensure corporate storytelling, CSR, sustainability, and thought leadership initiatives are effectively communicated internally and externally.
Events & Stakeholder Engagement
- Oversee corporate events, press conferences, stakeholder meetings and events, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Ensure events and engagement initiatives deliver strategic objectives, strengthen the brand, and enhance relationships with key stakeholders.
Measurement, Reporting & Governance
- Define communications KPIs, monitor performance, and provide strategic reporting to the executive team.
- Continuously evaluate the impact of communications programs and recommend improvements to optimize effectiveness and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure compliance with governance standards, quality controls, and corporate brand guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media relations and has been in similar role.
- Proven ability to lead high-impact communications and PR campaigns, manage complex assignments and safeguard corporate reputation.
- Strong experience in the Saudi Arabian market, with knowledge of local media, culture, best practices and government engagement.
- Experience in corporate storytelling, content, digital communications, social media strategy, and AI-enabled communications tools.
- Strong network of journalists, media contacts, and industry stakeholders.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills, with strategic advisory experience to executive leadership.
- Experience in planning and executing high-profile corporate events.
- Excellent stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and team leadership capabilities.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
