We are seeking an experienced Corporate FP&A Analyst to join our in-house team, serving the partners of our firm. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating financial models, analyzing KPIs and financial trends, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and generating financial reports to support management decision-making and strategic initiatives. The successful individual must be able to analyze and interpret data to draw out insights and drive change.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
  • Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy


You'll need to have:

  • 2-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, or advisory services experience preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field with a strong academic record
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative skills to develop trends and margin improvements
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting
  • Ability to leverage business intelligence tools and other technologies to improve visibility and efficiency (e.g., Macabacus, PowerBI or Tableau)
  • Aptitude and experience using MS Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Works well in a dynamic environment and handles multiple projects while prioritizing deliverables and meeting deadlines
  • Team player with ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Must be detail-oriented, motivated and highly organized
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies (e.g., machine learning models, predictive analytics, or automated financial systems) and their application in financial analysis, forecasting, or reporting

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $80,000 – $100,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
