Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Programmer Analyst plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining business applications and data solutions that enhance operational efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making. This position involves hands-on development using SQL, Python, HTML, Power BI, API integration, and AI-driven tools. The Programmer Analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify needs, implement solutions, and document all aspects of development in alignment with organizational standards.
Application Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using SQL, Python, and HTML.
- Integrate APIs and automate workflows to streamline data and system processes.
- Ensure software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze complex datasets to generate actionable business insights.
- Create and maintain data pipelines and stored procedures for efficient data transformation.
- Design and publish interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Documentation & Communication
- Document all project phases including technical specifications, process flows, user guides, and testing plans.
- Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and updated regularly.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions through strong communication with stakeholders.
Technical & User Support
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing applications.
- Collaborate with IT colleagues and vendors to resolve system issues and recommend improvements.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in application development or data analysis.
- Proficiency in:
- SQL (queries, stored procedures)
- Python
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Power BI
- API integration and development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Understanding software development best practices and agile methodologies.
- Experience working with ERP or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
