At Liquid Environmental Solutions (LES), we are the nation’s leading force in non-hazardous liquid waste management, dedicated to protecting businesses, communities, and the environment every single day. Behind our nationwide operational success is a highly strategic Risk Management team.

We are seeking a Corporate Risk & Claims Management Specialist who thrives on problem-solving, data analysis, and driving tangible financial impact. This is no ordinary claims processing role. This is a high-visibility opportunity to own the full lifecycle of corporate claims, partner cross-functionally with executive leadership, and directly influence our bottom line in a fast-growing, acquisition-driven environment.

The Impact You’ll Make

As our Corporate Risk & Claims Management Specialist, you will take full ownership of LES’s insurance and claims infrastructure. You will be the strategic bridge between operations, finance, and our external partners to mitigate risk and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Claims Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of Workers’ Compensation, Auto Liability, and General Liability claims from initial intake through strategic resolution.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as the primary liaison and champion for LES with key external partners, including our TPA (Sedgwick), Broker (Alliant), carriers, and legal teams.
  • Financial Stewardship: Monitor and proactively challenge claim reserves to ensure accurate financial exposure; aggressively pursue cost-saving opportunities through subrogation, targeted settlement strategies, and medical management.
  • Data-Driven Risk Mitigation: Analyze claims data and dashboards to identify risk trends, participate in serious incident reviews, and collaborate with leadership to implement solutions that reduce future claim frequency and severity.
  • Executive Visibility: Prepare high-level summaries for executive reviews and partner closely with Corporate Finance on reserves, exposure reporting, and cost tracking.
  • M&A Support: Facilitate the seamless integration of newly acquired companies into the existing LES insurance and risk management framework.
  • Program Administration: Oversee the Certificate of Insurance (COI) process, support annual renewal marketing, partner with Fleet on asset recovery, and maintain pristine compliance data (hours, miles, etc.) for safety reporting.

What Sets This Opportunity Apart

  • High Autonomy & Impact: You aren't just processing claims; you have the authority to influence settlement strategies and directly impact the company's cost structure.
  • Cross-Functional Exposure: You will work collaboratively across Legal, Finance, Fleet, Operations, and Executive leadership teams.
  • A Culture of Growth: As an acquisition-driven industry leader, your role will evolve alongside a scaling national footprint.

What You Bring to the Team

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Industry Expertise: 5+ years of dedicated experience managing Workers’ Compensation, Corporate Risk, or Commercial Claims.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Workers’ Compensation laws/regulations, alongside Commercial Auto and General Liability claims processes.
  • Vendor Management: Proven track record working effectively with TPAs, brokers, and commercial insurance carriers.
  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to dissect loss runs, evaluate reserve reports, interpret claims dashboards, and translate data into actionable risk-reduction strategies.
  • Tools: High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel for deep data analysis) and corporate claims portals.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to influence outcomes across various internal departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced experience utilizing specialized claims analytics and reporting tools.

Work Environment & Travel:

  • Professional, collaborative corporate office environment.
  • Position is primarily sedentary with occasional light lifting.
  • Approximately 10% travel required for regional reviews or site integrations.
