Corporate Sales Analyst

Summary

This position is responsible for processing and auditing monthly sales tracings and rebates from distributors across North America, calculating and reviewing commissions for all sales roles, auditing and preparing administrative fee reports, and analyzing and presenting sales data to support the sales organization. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, process discipline, and independent judgment. Work products are relied upon directly by leadership and has downstream impact on distributor relationships, commission payouts, and business decisions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Compile, process, and audit distributor files for sales tracings and rebates on a monthly cycle.
Validate all data before processing, including customer mappings, units of measure, distributor IDs, and contract assignments.
Perform reconciliation checks on totals before escalating discrepancies. Conclusions drawn about errors or discrepancies must be supported by data.
Communicate with distributors regarding paybacks and rebate discrepancies using accurate, specific, and professionally written correspondence.
Apply correct denial reason codes and threshold logic consistently.
Collaborate with the Contracts department on customer pricing and GPO eligibility.
Maintain and create new customers in Traverse (ERP System) following established naming and entry standard
Calculate monthly commissions due for sales reps based on distributor tracing files and direct sales
Prepare commission and sales reports for Executives and Sales Management
Track commission payments and history via Excel and conduct periodic analysis to forecast future payments
Maintain and optimize the commission process and communicate any changes effectively
Monitor territory alignment
Ensure all accounts are properly assigned to the respective Territory Manager utilizing zip code assignments.
Collaborate with I.T. to update territory assignments when open sales positions are filled.
Audit and assist in new year territory and regional realignments as directed by the VP of Sales.
Ad Hoc reports and other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Mathematics, Finance, Data Science or Business Administration.
Minimum one year of related experience (full time or internship) is preferred but not required.
Experience with Excel, Power BI, Traverse (or other ERP System) preferred.

Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills
