Hotel Shattuck Plaza is seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Manager who is passionate about building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating and managing corporate and government business, developing local negotiated rate (LNR) accounts, securing group business, and growing market share through strategic sales efforts. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional who enjoys prospecting, networking, negotiating contracts, and building long-term client relationships.

The Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with corporate, government, and business travel accounts.

Generate new business through prospecting, networking, outside sales calls, and community involvement.

Identify and pursue opportunities to increase market share and hotel revenue.

Develop and manage local negotiated rate (LNR) accounts and corporate partnerships.

Conduct hotel site tours and client meetings to showcase the property's offerings.

Negotiate contracts, room blocks, and pricing agreements for corporate and group business.

Utilize Delphi, Agency360, and other sales tools to identify prospects and manage sales activity.

Maintain an organized solicitation plan and account coverage strategy.

Collaborate with Revenue Management and hotel leadership to maximize revenue opportunities and optimize occupancy.

Track sales activity, prepare weekly reports, and maintain accurate client records.

Represent Hotel Shattuck Plaza at networking events, industry functions, and community organizations.

Work closely with hotel operations teams to ensure a seamless guest and client experience.

Perform additional duties as assigned in support of departmental and hotel objectives.
Model Qualifications

3-5 years of hotel sales experience preferred.

Experience in business transient, corporate, government, or group sales strongly preferred.

Proven ability to develop new business and achieve revenue goals.

Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with Delphi, Opera, Microsoft Office, and hotel sales systems preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
