Corporate/Commercial Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Support the business on a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk and commercially focused issues
• Assist with corporate governance, policies, and compliance-related work
• Work closely with senior stakeholders and external counsel where required
• Operate with discretion and professionalism in a government-facing environment

Requirements

• Senior Associate-level lawyer (7+ years' PQE)
• Common law qualified (e.g., UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada)
• Solid experience across corporate and commercial law
• Currently based in the UAE, with willingness to work in Abu Dhabi
• Comfortable working on a contract/secondment basis, including holding (or obtaining) a freelance or spousal visa

This role will begin as an initial three-month contract, with a strong view to extension (typically a further 3-6 months). There is also a clear contract-to-permanent pathway over the longer term, subject to performance and business needs.
