Saunders County Corrections is accepting applications for full-time Corrections Officer. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, a U.S. citizen, have a high school diploma or GED, no convictions punishable by imprisonment in a federal or state penitentiary for a term of one year or more; unless pardon received, and must possess a valid driver's license. Saunders County offers a competitive benefit package and a 12-hour shift schedule (7:00 AM-7:00 PM/7:00 PM-7:00 AM). This schedule provides employees the benefit of working 15 out of every 30 days, not working more than 3 consecutive days and having every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday off. Starting wage is $25.34 hr. with an additional shift differential applied to the overnight shift.
