Responsibilities:
- Maintain security and control within a correctional facility
- Monitor inmate activities and behavior
- Conduct searches for contraband items
- Enforce facility rules and regulations
- Respond to emergencies and maintain order
- Conduct inmate counts and inspections
- Escort inmates to various locations within the facility
- Provide written reports on incidents and daily activities

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform job duties effectively
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

As a Correctional Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of the correctional facility. Your responsibilities will include monitoring inmate activities, enforcing rules, conducting searches, and responding to emergencies. Strong written communication skills are essential as you will be required to provide detailed reports on incidents and daily activities. This position requires individuals who can remain calm in high-pressure situations and have the physical fitness necessary to perform the duties of the job effectively. Pay: From $36,000.00 per year
