Correctional Officer/ Jailer

```Job Overview:
As a Correctional Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of our correctional facility. You will be responsible for supervising inmates, enforcing rules and regulations, and ensuring the well-being of both staff and inmates. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle stressful situations.

Duties:
- Supervise and monitor inmates in their daily activities
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure security and prevent disturbances
- Enforce rules and regulations within the facility
- Conduct searches of inmates, cells, and common areas for contraband
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within the facility
- Maintain accurate records and write detailed reports
- Assist in the transportation of inmates as needed

Qualifications:
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Previous experience in law enforcement or a related field is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and inmate interactions
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and de-escalate potentially volatile situations
- Familiarity with security systems, including CCTV monitoring
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
