CORRECTIONS OFFICER

** No experience necessary and onsite paid training is provided. **

Job Summary: Primary responsibility is care, custody, and control of inmates within the Adams County Corrections system.

The mission of the Adams County Adult Correctional Complex (ACACC) is to protect and serve the residents of Adams County and the general public by providing progressive and comprehensive correctional and rehabilitative services. These functions are achieved through well managed and effective correctional programming, including: the use of pre-trial supervision; secure incarceration; community re-entry programs, and highly accountable security methods. We will strive to empower our workforce at every level to achieve excellence in correctional practices. Collaboration, efficiency, accountability, integrity and leadership are keys to our success.

Minimum Qualifications: You must have a valid driver's license, no previous felony convictions and successful completion of all pre-employment screening. All training is provided.
