Responsibilities
- Monitor incarcerated individual behavior through CCTV surveillance systems to prevent disturbances and ensure safety.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to maintain security, check for hazards, and enforce rules.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies using conflict management skills and first aid when necessary.
- Write detailed reports documenting daily activities, incidents, and disciplinary actions with clarity and accuracy.
- Enforce facility policies by supervising incarcerated individual movements, visits, and activities to uphold order.
- Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or when transferring incarcerated individuals securely.
- Manage conflict situations calmly using conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions effectively.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must posess a High School Diploma/GED
- Must have a valid New York State Driver's License
Pay: $21.85 per hour
