Corrections Officer (PT)

The Mountrail County Correctional Center is seeking a part-time Correctional Officer to work approximately 24 hours per week. This position pays $28.61-30.96/hour DOE.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to) overseeing inmates, keeping order within the jail, searching cells, writing reports and filling out daily logs, escorting prisoners’ movements, etc.

This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, the ability to quickly assess a situation and determine the appropriate response, the ability to monitor multiple activities and individuals, and willingness and desire to learn new and challenging tasks.
