Corrugated Structural Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Corrugated Structural Designer to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and efficient structural designs for corrugated packaging solutions, ensuring they meet both functional and aesthetic standards. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D schematics of corrugated structural designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, or ArchiCAD.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to translate project requirements into innovative structural concepts.
• Utilize design software like Grasshopper 3D and Revit to optimize system design and improve structural integrity.
• Prepare comprehensive technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions that adhere to industry standards.
• Conduct design reviews, simulations, and testing to ensure durability, stability, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Incorporate client feedback and project specifications into iterative design processes for continuous improvement.
• Support construction teams by providing detailed drafting support and resolving design challenges during fabrication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CAD-based drafting and system design within the packaging or construction industry.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of schematics, mechanical design principles, and construction processes.
• Familiarity with graphic design concepts and interior or mechanical system design is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and translate conceptual ideas into detailed plans.
• Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Pay: $49,504.00 - $73,114.08 per year
