Cosmetic/Medical Assistant Dermatology - Coconut Grove

Job Focus

• Assisting the medical providers in all aspects of clinical practice
• Setting up, stocking, and cleaning exam rooms
• Answering phone calls and patient messages
• Preparing lab specimens
• Patient care procedures and related tasks; checks in patients, assists in obtaining patient histories, prepares charts, and assists with medical examinations.
• Communicate with the patients on specified medical issues within established parameters.
• Take before/after photos
• Follow up with patients

• Medication reconciliation
• Excellent patient management,
• Greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Notes/Medical Histories/Workers Comp/Lawsuits
• Educate and facilitate sale of the products and aesthetic services
• Administrative Work
• Assist with Xtrac, CoolSculpting & MiraDry procedures
• Keep up with clinical resource work such as; log in pathology and culture results, certified letters, medical notes, prior authorizations, hospital notes
• Track the medical Inventory

• Medical & Cosmetic Dermatology Knowledge

• Medical Assisting (Required)
• Medical Dermatology (Plus)
• Cosmetic Dermatology (Plus)
