We are growing and seeking passionate Beauty Sales Consultants who want to build a career helping clients discover healthier beauty solutions while earning through sales performance.
Position Overview
This is not a traditional retail beauty position.
As a Beauty Sales Consultant, you will serve as a trusted beauty advisor, educator, and sales professional. You will meet with clients in our studio, at private appointments, community events, workshops, and occasionally in clients' homes or offices.
You will help clients identify their beauty goals, match complexion products, recommend skincare routines, teach makeup techniques, and create personalized product solutions that improve confidence and wellness.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-motivated, relationship-driven, and excited about growing a client base while earning commission-based income.
Responsibilities:
Beauty Consultations & Sales
- Book and conduct personalized makeup and skincare consultations
- Cover assigned in-person studio hours shifts during the week and or weekend
- Match foundation, concealer, and complexion products
- Recommend customized skincare routines
- Educate clients on clean, non-toxic beauty alternatives
- Demonstrate products and techniques
- Build long-term client relationships
- Follow up with customers after appointments
- Meet individual sales goals and performance targets
Workshops & Events
- Lead clean beauty workshops and educational experiences
- Teach makeup application classes
- Facilitate skincare education sessions ("Skin School")
- Represent the brand at community events and pop-ups
- Create engaging experiences that drive product sales
Client Development
- Build and maintain a personal client portfolio
- Generate referrals and repeat business
- Connect with prospective customers through networking and social media
- Participate in local outreach and community engagement activities
Brand Representation
- Represent the LUV + CO mission and values
- Stay informed about ingredients, product benefits, and industry trends
- Participate in company training and professional development
- Maintain professional appearance and presentation standards
In-Studio Duties
- Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their beauty needs and preferences
- Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos, including makeup application techniques and skincare routines
- Assist customers in selecting products that suit their individual styles, skin types, and budgets
- Upsell complementary products and promote new arrivals to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain organized stock displays, restock shelves, and ensure proper merchandising to attract customer attention
- Utilize salon software such as Millennium or similar platforms for inventory management and sales tracking
- Engage with customers via social media management tools to promote products, events, and special offers
- Provide expert advice on beauty routines, makeup application tips, and skincare solutions in multiple languages if applicable
- Ensure the front desk area is welcoming, organized, and reflects current promotions or seasonal themes
Qualifications Required
- Passion for beauty, wellness, skincare, or cosmetics
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable recommending products and closing sales
- Ability to build rapport quickly with clients
- Reliable transportation for field appointments and events
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow earnings through performance
Preferred
- Experience working in beauty retail or by appointment medical spas, salons, or skincare clinics
- Experience in retail sales, luxury sales, direct sales, real estate or design consulting, or consultative selling
- Makeup artistry experience
- Esthetics or skincare knowledge (GA license not required but previous aesthetics coursework helpful)
- Social media and personal branding experience
- Experience facilitating workshops, trainings, or group presentations
Compensation
LUV + CO offers a performance-based compensation structure designed for motivated professionals.
