About the Company

A well-established General Contracting Company is seeking a qualified Cost Engineer to join its Head Office Cost Engineering Department . The role focuses on cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor detailed project budgets based on the approved scope of work.

• Track and monitor project costs regularly, comparing actual costs to budgets and forecasts.

• Maintain and update cost control systems using ERP software for real-time data accuracy.

• Conduct cost forecasting to predict future project expenditures and identify potential cost overruns.

• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions for cost deviations.

• Identify and assess financial risks associated with the project.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.

• Recommend process enhancements to improve cost management practices.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and financial regulations.

• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize cost data and performance metrics.

✅Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-7 years, with at least 2 years as a Mechanical Cost Engineer in the construction / general contracting sector..

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Power BI.

• Certified PMP, RMP, CCP is a plus.
