Position Summary
Wieland’s Project Managers take ownership of the project financials to produce a successful project. They work directly with the project team to ensure the financial health of the project during the course of construction all the way through close-out. They serve as the connector for communication and direction between the WIELAND project team, Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors. This Project Manager is integral to the financial functions of construction management which allows them to guide and support the project team to deliver a project within budget.
Job Functions
· Interact with owners/owner reps, project team and subcontractors on a regular basis regarding owner billing submissions.
· Oversee document control of subcontracts and change orders for your assigned projects.
· Prepare owner and subcontract change orders.
· Review subcontractor AIA billings monthly and administer revision requests or additional documentation required.
· Perform project projections and budget reconciliation with project team monthly and communicate findings with Project Team and Directors.
· Compile and present necessary financial reports for both internal and external parties.
· Perform monthly forecasting and cost projections to ensure timely submission of Fee Rec.
· Oversee project set-up as it relates to the project budget.
· Assist with project buyout as it relates to creating a budget and issuing subcontractors.
· Create and distribute bid packages and documents, clarify bid-related questions as needed with contractors in an efficient manner.
· Schedule and perform post bid interviews to verify scope, schedule, and cost resulting in selection of subcontractors will represent Wieland.
· Maintain positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.
· Continually monitor change order management throughout the project.
· Reconcile accounting software and project management software as needed.
· Assist with closeout documentation for owner files, including punch list, as-built drawings and documentation in a timely manner.
· Recognize possible issues, perform research and propose to implement preventative action to mitigate risk.
· Communicate positively and effectively with other companies and departments.
· Maintain and monitor project files to ensure easy retrieval.
· Maintain a cohesive work environment with your WIELAND team members.
· Ability to receive methods of improvement or constructive feedback.
· Respects differences and similarities; listens and takes the time to understand viewpoints of others.
· Perform additional assignments per owner and project executive’s direction.
· Be willing to travel to project sites or be on site 100% if necessary for a specific project.
· Maintain and display company values and culture.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
