- Monitor and analyze costs related to projects, operations, and departments to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Develop and maintain cost control systems and procedures.
- Prepare and review cost reports, variance analyses, and financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with project managers and department heads to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures.
- Conduct regular audits of cost-related activities and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide detailed cost analyses and reports to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Review and validate invoices and expenditures to ensure proper cost allocation.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing cost data and insights.
- Address and resolve cost-related issues and discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Technical Diploma in Cost Control, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience.
- At least 5 years in a similar cost control or cost management role.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent attention to detail; proficiency in cost control software and MS Office Suite
