Job Summary
Seven Seas Hotel is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Controller with strong hospitality finance background and hands-on experience in IDS (Integrated Data Systems / IDS hotel system). The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling all food, beverage, and operational costs to ensure profitability and compliance with hotel financial standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cost control activities across F&B, kitchen, and stores
- Maintain and update cost reports, variance analysis, and consumption reports
- Conduct monthly inventory audits and reconciliation
- Ensure accurate pricing, recipe costing, and menu engineering support
- Track purchase orders, supplier invoices, and receiving reports
- Coordinate with purchasing and stores for stock management efficiency
- Identify wastage, theft, or inefficiencies and report findings
- Prepare monthly cost reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and financial procedures
- Work closely with Finance Manager and Executive Chef
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel cost control
- Strong hands-on experience with IDS system (mandatory)
- Prior experience in 4-star or 5-star hotels preferred
- Excellent knowledge of F&B costing, inventory control, and procurement processes
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Immediate joiner preferred / strongly required
