Cost Controller (FM – MEP & Soft Services)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller with an accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) and a strong background in Facilities Management, specifically covering MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and Soft Services. The successful candidate will monitor project financials, review P&Ls, and manage costings across multiple projects. The role involves both analytical reporting and hands-on commercial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

P&L Monitoring:

Review project-level profit and loss statements against budget and actuals.

Identify variances, investigate discrepancies, and provide insights to management.

Analytical Reporting:

Produce periodic analytical reports on cost performance, project profitability, and forecasted trends.

Commercial Costings:

Update commercial costings on ongoing projects.

Independently prepare commercial costings for small to medium projects, ensuring profitability and accuracy.

Invoicing & Payments:

Oversee the invoicing process, payment collections, and manage debtor follow-ups.

Maintain and report on aging lists, ensuring timely collections.

Team Management:

Lead and mentor a small team of 3–4 accountants and administrators, ensuring smooth operations and development.

Regional Experience:

Bring prior experience within the UAE or GCC, with a strong grasp of FM-related cost structures in this region.

Qualifications & Skills:

Certified accountant (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).

5+ years in cost control roles within FM, specifically MEP and Soft Services.

Strong understanding of cost structures, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Familiarity with invoicing, payments, and debtor management.

Experience managing a small team.

Proficient in financial systems and reporting tools.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per hour
