Cost Estimator

• Assist in preparing project cost estimates for retail display furniture, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company standards.
• Conduct initial quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment needed for production.
• Collaborate with production, design and procurement team to review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to determine project scope and cost implications.
• Contribute to regular updates on estimation processes and maintain a comprehensive estimation database.
• Track project budgets, monitor expenses, and highlight variances from initial estimates to keep costs within budget.
• Work closely with project managers to update costs and identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Assist in preparing cost reports and analysis to ensure effective monitoring of actual vs. estimated costs, highlighting deviations as needed.
• Support the procurement team by researching material options and suppliers, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Prepare material quantity requirements for each project, ensuring minimal waste and optimizing usage based on Art Nouveau’s sustainability goals.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm lead times, quality checks, and material availability to ensure timely delivery for each project.
• Maintain organized records of project estimates, cost control documentation, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
• Ensure all material specifications align with project requirements, industry standards, and Art Nouveau Decor's quality benchmarks.
• Participate in audits and assist in preparing required documents to support the accuracy of estimates and cost controls.
• Engage with the production team to gather insights into production times and material usage, improving future estimates.
• Work closely with project coordinators, designers, and other internal teams to integrate their requirements into accurate project estimations.
• Maintain clear communication with vendors and subcontractors to align project requirements, negotiate prices, and resolve material discrepancies.
